Boston Celtics fans vent frustrations after back-to-back playoff losses to New York Knicks

Fans at the Silver Slipper Restaurant in Roxbury are discussing the Boston Celtics’ recent losses to the New York Knicks, as the team trails 2-0 in the best-of-seven series after blowing a 20-point lead in two consecutive games.”Terrible, terrible loss,” said Jeff Hernandez, the restaurant’s owner.”Oh, I was hurting,” fan Lawrence Ruff said.”I ain’t blaming no other player, but I’m blaming all the Celtics,” fan Dashawn Harris said.Celtics Nation is frustrated and concerned. “The whole team and the coach should have called a timeout,” Hernandez said.”I think they’re really going to regret letting this one get away from them,” fan Thomas Dwyer said. Thankfully for fans, the flapjacks at Silver Slipper are fire, but the Celtics need to get on fire after shooting just 25% from the three-point line in both games. “We’re a three-point team, and we’re going to shoot threes, we are always going to shoot threes. We gotta be precise about what threes we make though,” Harris said. Despite the fact that only five teams in NBA history have come back to win a series after losing the first two games at home, fans believe Boston can still prevail.”Nothing to worry about, it’s only two games,” Ruff said.”I’m tired a little bit, but I think we got this,” Harris said. “They will (win) in New York, they’re a better team on the road, they play better on the road,” Hernandez said. “New York, get ready for us.”
