Sweetgreen on Tuesday announced its new summer menu, which includes three seasonal bowls and a marketing campaign branded ‘You Wait for This.’
The new menu items include:
Tomato Panzanella: A salad made with romaine, arugula, tomatoes, avocado, basil, cucumbers, pickled onions, garlic breadcrumbs, feta, and tomato vinaigrette, $14.25. It’s Sweetgreen’s first panzanella.
Picnic Bowl: A salad made with romaine, golden quinoa, blackened chicken, summer vegetable medley, crispy onions, corn salsa, and charred jalapeño ranch, $13.92.
Summer Market Bowl: A bowl made with baby spinach, warm wild rice, roasted chicken, pickled onions, summer vegetable medley, maple toasted sunflower seeds, feta, and pesto vinaigrette, $14.50.

The marketing campaign leans into the idea that many consumers wait all year for summertime.
“Seasonality has always been part of the magic at Sweetgreen, but summer gives us a chance to make that feel especially vivid,” said Chief Commercial Officer Zipporah Allen in a statement. “This menu reflects what we do best: pairing thoughtfully sourced, seasonal ingredients with bold, bright flavors that meet the moment and celebrate produce at its peak.”
The fast-casual restaurant chain is also partnering with AllTrails, a social app with maps and guides for hiking, biking, and running. The brands collaborated on ‘Summer is Outside presented by Sweetgreen,’ a curated collection of city-adjacent trails across select U.S. metros, each near a Sweetgreen restaurant.
The new menu items are available now. The Tomato Panzanella is available through July 6, and the Picnic Bowl and Summer Market Bowl are available through August 10.
