I know what you're thinking: They’re just salt-and-vinegar chips, how good can they really be? To that I have to say: No, really, there’s something special about these. The first thing you’ll notice about Graza’s potato chips, fried in extra-virgin olive oil, is that they’re impressively thin without being flimsy. Then there’s the gorgeous pink dust that lightly coats each chip. “What is that?” our team asked when we first saw it. One bite in, we had our answer: red wine vinegar powder. That alone sets them apart from your standard white vinegar salt and vinegar chip. Round it all out with a gentle EVOO flavor (the oil you fry in matters), and you get a nice herbal, balanced note to the whole thing. Protein is everywhere: on popcorn, in jams and jellies, and even in water. What I appreciate most about Purely Elizabeth’s new protein granola, available in three flavors (dark chocolate blueberry, almond butter and berries, and cinnamon toast), is that all the protein comes from nuts and seeds rather than protein powder. There are only 10 grams per serving, but tossed into a bowl of Greek yogurt, that’s more than enough. I’m not a sweets person. I’m the kind of person who can have a single bite of chocolate after dinner and feel satisfied. So when I saw Joy Supply’s new oat cookies, I wasn’t exactly rushing to try them. Then I did, and let me tell you: I think I’m now a dessert person, or at least a Joy Supply person. These taste like someone coated oats in brown butter and baked them just long enough to get every last crunchy bit. They’re so thin that the crunch is evenly distributed in every bite, which I can only describe as maximum crunchification. As you’ll see in the photo, we nearly polished off the entire box before remembering we needed to document them (but even the cookie crumbles look good, if you ask me.) —O.T.

I’ve been an English muffin lover for as long as I can remember, a trait I probably inherited from my mom, who swaps one in for toast every time she orders at a diner. The Thomas brand ones at the grocery store were all I knew until I tried Stone & Skillet, and let me tell you: These feel like a whole other category of thing. Fluffy, chewy, and impressively tall, the muffins are made in Boston using upcycled barley from craft breweries, which contributes some protein and fiber and, more importantly, is probably why they taste so great. The brand recently launched a limited edition strawberry flavor that’s become my go-to this spring. GoNanas’ new muffins remind me of the Little Debbie mini muffins of my youth—if those muffins were free from artificial flavors and various ingredients I can’t pronounce. Made primarily of oat flour, brown sugar, banana, and dates, these little muffins taste homemade. Each pack of three makes for a lovely post-lunch desk dessert, but I’ve also taken to stashing a pack in my bag in case hunger strikes when I’m bopping around town. —A.C.
