BJ’s Restaurants has revamped its chicken sandwich selection with new flavors and ingredients.
Available nationwide starting tomorrow, the new lineup includes three options:
The Korean Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sandwich features fried chicken tossed in a sweet and spicy Asian glaze, topped with in-house pickled vegetables, sesame seeds, and sriracha aioli on a brioche bun.
BJ's Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich comes "classic" or sauced with Honey BBQ, BJ's Peppered BBQ, Hot Honey Buffalo, Tatonka Stout Buffalo, or Nashville Hot. It is topped with coleslaw, dill pickles, and mayonnaise on a brioche bun.
BJ's Original Crispy Chicken Sandwich comes with, lettuce, tomatoes, dill pickles, and honey mustard on a brioche bun.

The Korean and Original sandwiches are brand new, while the Classic has been re-engineered, BJ’s CEO Lyle Tick said in an interview last month. A spicy Kickin' Chicken Sandwich will leave the menu.
The Original will also be included on BJ’s Pizookie Meal Deal menu, which offers an entree, side, and Pizookie dessert for $13, Monday through Friday.
The sandwiches are the latest in a series of menu updates at 200-unit BJ’s, including the addition of a smashburger and a new pizza recipe, that have helped improve sales. In May, it reported its seventh straight quarter of same-store sales and traffic growth.
Chicken sandwiches have become a popular item at restaurant chains of all kinds, even those not known for chicken. In April, BJ’s competitor Chili’s launched a new chicken sandwich of its own.
“A lot of places have chicken sandwiches,” BJ’s said in a press release, “but BJ's new handcrafted chicken sandwiches are different.”
It noted the Korean flavor profile, customizable sauces and fresh ingredients like coleslaw as differentiators.
