Chipotle jumps into World Cup action with BOGO promo
The fast-casual Mexican chain is offering the deal to anyone who wears a soccer jersey in-store June 11

Chipotle is jumping into the FIFA Men’s World Cup action with a buy-one-get-one free entrée promotion in restaurants across the host countries of the United States, Mexico and Canada. On the day the World Cup officially starts, June 11, after 3 p.m. local time, customers who wear a soccer jersey to a Chipotle restaurant can earn the BOGO promotion.
This marks the chain’s first Matchday BOGO and comes on the heels of several similar promotions, including a college football BOGO, Thanksgiving BOGO and December BOGO. In April, Chipotle also brought back its Hockey Jersey BOGO promotion for the sixth consecutive year, which became the chain’s most successful jersey-themed offer in the company’s history.
For its latest promotion, the chain is also unveiling a limited-edition soccer jersey with "Real Chipotle" on the front, inspired by the use of the word "Real" in some of the sport's most iconic club names, as well as its “53 Real Ingredients” brand positioning. Fifty-three jerseys will be made available exclusively through the Chipotle Rewards Exchange for loyalty members in the U.S., with winners receiving their jerseys ahead of the tournament final on July 19. Chipotle Rewards members can exchange 10 points for a chance to win a jersey from June 10 through June 24.
"Every four years, this tournament creates an unmatched sense of excitement, pride and community among fans around the world," Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing Stephanie Perdue said in a statement. "We wanted to celebrate the rituals that make the experience so memorable, from wearing lucky jerseys to gathering for matchday meals with Chipotle."
Chipotle Rewards members who participate in the Matchday BOGO will unlock an exclusive digital badge through Chipotle's recently updated "Rewards on Repeat" program aimed at driving more frequency, particularly among younger consumers. Guests must scan for Chipotle Rewards at the register to score the limited-edition badge.
Beyond the World Cup, Chipotle supported nearly 1,500 local soccer fundraisers in 2025, donating more than $225,000. Since launching its fundraiser program in 2015, Chipotle has supported more than 14,000 soccer fundraisers and contributed over $3.5 million to local soccer organizations. This support is part of Chipotle’s Real Food for Real Athletes platform, launched in 2019, that includes athlete partnerships and “providing proper nutrition through real food and fresh ingredients.”
