Island Creek Raw Bar Opens Soon
Grab a sun hat because Island Creek Raw Bar is back for the season. Point your sandals towards the Seaport starting on Monday, April 20th for some on-island energy that’s right here in the city, with piles of their award-winning freshly harvested oysters served up alongside hand-packed caviar and tinned fish from their New Bedford cannery. The outdoor spot is also kicking things up a notch for this season, with live music from The Dandes every Sunday afternoon and a Wednesday night cornhole league with Volo Sports starting May 20th.
The menu’s packed with plenty of extras to round out your shellfish feast like fried fish, shrimp, chicken, pork belly or lobster tacos, Baja-style ceviche tostadas, crispy chili fried lobster, waffle fry nachos with chipotle aioli, and then there’s caviar hot dogs and caviar waffle fries for the days you’re feeling extra fancy. The drinks are always cold, plus they’ve added a few new sips this year including piña coladas and hibiscus margaritas.
Island Creek Raw Bar is open every day, Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00 to 10:00pm; Wednesdays from 12:00 to 10:00pm; Thursday through Saturday from 12:00 to 11:00pm; and Sundays from 12:00 to 10:00pm. Since it’s an all-outdoor venue, the hours are weather dependent, of course, so make sure you’re following their Instagram for updates and keep your eye on the weather app before you head out!
