Jamaica Mi Hungry in Boston's Financial District Has Closed; Food Truck and Catering to Continue
The sole remaining location of what had been a pair of brick-and-mortar restaurants featuring Jamaican food has closed, though the business will continue on in other forms.
According to a Bluesky post from @heyheydra.bsky.social, Jamaica Mi Hungry in Boston's Financial District is no longer in operation, with an Instagram post from the business saying the following:
While our restaurant chapter has come to an end, Jamaica Mi Hungry is here to stay. Going forward, we're focusing exclusively on catering and our award-winning food truck bringing Jamaican flavors directly to your events, workplaces, celebrations, and communities. We want to thank every customer who has supported us throughout the years. Your loyalty and love have helped us grow into what we are today. We're excited for what's next and can't wait to serve you at festivals, private events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and more! Thank you, and we hope you continue being part of the Jamaica Mi Hungry family.
Last spring, the Jamaica Plain location of Jamaica Mi Hungry shut down, about a month after the downtown location debuted.
The address for the now-closed location of Jamaica Mi Hungry in the Financial District was 291 Devonshire Street, Boston, MA, 02110. The website for the business can be found at https://www.jamaicamihungry.com/
