Jersey Mike’s has a new headquarters.
The development company Inspired by Somerset Development on Wednesday said it has leased 72,326 square feet of office space, plus another 2,286 square feet as an on-site retail location, to Jersey Mike’s in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
The new corporate headquarters is in the Bell Works Fort Monmouth development. A public relations spokesperson for the company said it has already made the move from its former office in Manasquan, New Jersey, but declined to offer details.
The sandwich chain was founded in 1956 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and was acquired by Peter Cancro in 1975 when he was 17 years old. Cancro grew the franchise chain to over 3,000 units before selling it to private-equity firm Blackstone in 2024 in a deal valued at $8 billion.
Earlier this year, Blackstone confidentially filed documents for an initial public offering.
